During the full weekend\, there will be workshops about: posing\, freediving\, yoga… And there will be a mermaid market! \nThe theme for the merconvention and mermaid ball is art nouveau: “Essence of Mers”. Get inspired by Mucha’s women: elegant\, sensual\, seductive\, and connected to nature. Be a true siren. \nAll mermaids must be certified and have dive insurance.\nThese are the new safety rules from TODI. Valid certification:\n– Mermaid\n– Basic freediving\n– Freediving level 1\nFrom AIDA\, CMAS\, NAUI\, PADI or SSI. \nF.A.Q. for Essence of Mers: International Merconvention by The Mermates 2021 June 26 and 27\nVersion 27/8/2020 \n1) Minimum age\nThe minimum age to attend this event is 14. Under 18 (and 14+) you have to have a legal guardian. \nA guardian ticket is for people who need to bring a guardian because they are a minor and don’t have people who attend the event to be their legal guardian. It is also for helpers of people who have a disability. The guardian tickets give non-swimming access to the event.\nIf a guardian wants to be able to swim\, then they should buy the normal tickets.\n2.8)\nIs it possible to buy a ticket at the entrance?\nNo\, tickets are only available online via Tibbaa. \n3) Professional photographers or videographers\n3.1) Can I bring a professional photographer?\nNo\, there will be professional photographers and there are photoshoot workshops.
